bible talk
03/06/02 ~ 9:18 p.m.

fuck. fuck. fuckity-fuck. why in the hell can't my computer stay online for 2 goddamned seconds? grrrrrr. i just need to get directions to the courthouse and where my interview is being held, for christ sakes. raaaahhhhh.

hee. entry 420. hee. that's all i have to say.

sorry for so much swearing. on a lighter note, although i am not very religious (at all), i have this friend named sarah who is very much into her religion. almost 3 years ago, she got in a terrible car accident that should have taken her life. instead, she is a living miracle, getting better every day. she still had traumatic brain injury, her short term memory is pretty bad, and she sometimes needs help walking. but she is an honest to god miracle, and i know that something up there saved her for a reason.

anyhow, she sends a daily e-mail to her friends with a bible verse. i have to admit, many times i barely skim them, but the one she titled "good wisdom" a few days ago really touched me. so i'd like to share it with you.

My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.
James 1:19-21

i think that those words are beautiful, like poetry. =)

hey look, i'm online. better post this sucker and get the hell out of here!
