bev's birthday pictures

thank you all for your kind words of sympathy and encouragement involving the uti. i should have seen a doctor, and i would have been in much less pain, but i didn't and i'm ok now. i'll just be refraining from the carnal activities for another day, to give the area a little break. heh.
so, i have pictures! from beverly's birthday shindig last night! here goes:

it was a good showing of people! there were 17 people who came to the restaurant, and then there were 6 different friends who met up afterwards for a drink. i'd say bev is well loved!
we got home after midnight, and thus were quite tired today. i've been pretty dumpy most of today, including the 4 hours we spent at david's karate friend's party. i tried my best to be pleasant, but i think i just came across as quiet, which isn't really *me*, as most of you know. oh well. after we came home from that, we took a 2 hour nap. so now it's 9 pm, and we're not even close to ready to go to bed, so we're going to watch a movie.
i'm happy i don't have to work tomorrow, though! there will be a downloaded episode of the oc to watch, some cleaning to do, and some sex and the city with sabrina in the afternoon. i guess i have drag myself to the gym and hope my knee cooperates, as well. ;)

2003: but i'm reminded once again of how lucky i am that i met david how i did. there was some fate, a little luck, and a friendship first, which has grown into a beautiful, loving relationship -- better than i could have ever imagined. with him, i "just know." you can't do that on telelvision.
