back at work

so. i'm at work. not working, obviously. but i do have tons of shit to do so i'll make this quick. ned is hanging out with samantha tonight. i hate how i get when things associate with her. it always happens. like last time. so, i understand they're friends and all, and that he's staying with me for 2 whole weeks but only seeing her tonight and maybe tomorrow, but i still get jealous. and then when i do, he gets aggravated and eggs me on. and then he says that he doesn't get jealous over rick and stuff anf then i tell him that i wish he would and he's like, "what the hell? i don't get female logic!" so yeah.
i wish sam didn't live around here. then i wouldn't have this problem.
i get to hang out with carly and her new boyfriend and her other friends tonight. she paged me at 12:01 last night with the pager code for "i'm 21 now!!!" sad that i'm just not excited. i still have to get her a present.
on the other hand, i was very excited that jenny got home yesterday. her plane got in earlier so ned, mike and i hauled ass to the terminal, arriving just as she did. it was perfect. we made her a cheesy banner that said "welcome to america!" with little pictures on it, and mike got her roses and balloons. we all went to chevy's so she could have mexican food. they don't have that in france. she had been up for over 24 hours, which i could not do... so we hurried to finish, showed her my apartment very quick-like, and let her go home to sleep. today i am stopping by to see her again and finally meet her high school best friend, shelley. i've been trying to meet her for 1 1/2 years, but alas... the fates have something against it. i hope our entire universe doesn't unravel when we meet. hmmm.
