100 things

a nice dinner
04/22/04 ~ 11:37 a.m.

last night's BOA dinner was fun! we went to this historic place called the union hotel, which serves italian food. we got a little history presentation from one of the owners, a thank-you presentation from one of the broker's wives, and two gifts: a bag full of little treats, and a very pretty votive candle holder from mikasa. the dinner was semi-expensive, but very yum.

i got home pretty late because the place was so far away, and we carpooled so i couldn't leave early. david started taping the bachelor for me, though, so that was sweet. i watched that last night. i'm bummed he didn't keep the spy any longer, but i guess it was time - if he's having trouble picking 6 girls because he likes them all, why waste a spot for the spy? it was lame he kept trish (the whore one) even after his friend told him she couldn't be his friend if he dated her. next week looks interesting - the spy has to confess who she is to the other girls, and they realize that she's been telling him things about them. hopefully the ones who were her friends won't be too upset. they shouldn't be; they have nothing to be ashamed of, and the spy has been playing them up to jesse. so it was a good thing for them. but the whore is going to be so pissed. drama!

ok, enough reality talk. but more tv talk -- tonight is a new episode of friends! woo. only a few more left until the show is over. sad, because i love the show, but it's time. so after work, david and i will go the the ymca, then come home and make dinner to eat while watching friends. isn't that just a perfectly domestic evening? then after the show is over, we loaded new games onto our xbox so we'll try those out.

and that's all she wrote.
