ice skating

tonight one of the local radio stations hosted an event at our local ice rink. it's the charles schultz museum/gift shop/ice skating rink, in fact. cuz charles schultz was from sebastopol. yeah, you know you're jealous of all that celebrity in my town!
i'd been wanting to go there since we moved here, but alas, the 'ol knee wasn't up to it until i had surgery. and then while in recovery, it was still not a good idea. but now my knee can handle running and jumping and yoga! so it can ice skate, too! yay!
anyways. it was only $5.50 each, including skate rental. and i took pictures. of course.
no, we didn't fall! a little shaky, but that's all.
david is so cute. and he's all mine!!!
awwww... now WE are cute. except my hair. i need to like, get a hairstyle or something.
so yeah, that was fun. impromptu dates like that are the best. now instead of sleeping, we're both playing on our computers. speaking of which, did you see david's blog? he's starting a new ecosystem! and he took a bunch of pictures and thought up weird captions. that's my man, all right.
sucks that the weekend is already half over. ah well. i'll make the best of tomorrow!

2004: i can be a pretty gracious loser the first 100 times. but after that... i get bitchy.
2003: i guess sometimes it's good to remind your friends how much they mean to you. ... i am glad to hear i have helped you out too, because friendship should be give and take, always. it should be good for both people, why else would two people stay friends for so long?
2002: jenny says, "weird that you lost your keys at i-KEY-a." yeah.
2001: so here's to being single again, where i can find someone who will satisfy me in all ways, not just a few.
