trip, day 13
*7/01/02 ~ 5:12 p.m.
[brooke's b-day!] i entertained myself because ned has classes and homework. i got in his bed when he left for class, and didn't leave his room till about 1 pm. i walked down to check out the hyper-marche (a huge shopping store thing) and it just happened to be closed until 3 pm JUST THAT DAY for inventory. bitches.
so i walked forever back to a bus stop and met this guy who was also visiting people at georgia tech. he was really lost so i helped him out. it took forever, we had to find a bank to change over traveler's checks, wait forever to book train tickets, etc.
so eventually, i had my ticket for the next day and i left him and went on my way to find the metz movie theater. well, since i got off the bus at the train station and not downtown like ned had instructed, this task took over an hour. i was SO lost, and i asked like 5 people where to go.
eventually i got there and squeezed in to a showing of spiderman that had started about 5 minutes earlier. it was in french, and it think i followed quite well. i'll have to rent it in english so i can see how much i missed.
then ned met me for our last dinner, which we had at a semi-expensive restaurant and it was very good. then we headed back to his dorm, and had sex, which wasn't as good for me as it can be, but hey. i can't come everytime. it was still pleasurable. then i had to sleep on the floor again. =( bed is big enough for sex cuz you occupy the same space, but not for 2 large people to sleep well.
