i promise that tonight or tomorrow night, i'll write about meeting jenn and kiki, complete with pictures. since i don't have the photos uploaded at work, it has to wait. i will say that i had a great time, and those chikas rule!
for now, here's a heartfelt email i sent to david:
i'm still feeling kinda down. the weather is bleak, wish there was some sun to cheer me up.
i'm thinking about how cuddly and lovey we were last night. that's how i picture us to be - happy and in love.
i look at this picture on the wall and see how happy we are. it makes me smile and i feel better.
when you're happy, i'm happy. it makes me smile and glow. i want you to do the things that make you happy. i want you to spend time with friends. i want you to play computer games and program backgammon. i want you to treasure time spent with me, and not feel as if it's obligated time spent. maybe i want you to miss me sometimes.
i can't promise to be perfect and never make you feel bad about spending too much time on the computer or in the shower. i can't promise we'll never fight, as much as i'd like that to be true.
i can promise to love you forever. i can promise to keep your best interests at heart. i can promise to have fun and make the most of the time we spend together.
david, i love you with all that i have.
