child protective services

so here's a little story for you.
david's aunt (the one with 9 kids) lives next door to david's parents. one of the girls (age 12?) was at summer camp and told a counselor that her dad spanked her really hard. next thing you know, child protective services is at their door.
they can't possibly take all 9 kids away, they don't have the room, so they take the 3 youngest girls and place them in foster homes. the oldest girl goes to live with her cousin, and the boys are still at the house. so the dad is told he can't be within 100 yards of the remaining children.
damn. that's a bad day if i ever heard one. the status is the same las ti heard, but we're stopping by there tonight to pick up david's mail so i'll let you know if the situation has changed any.
hope you have good weekends -- i probably won't be back til monday again. i might be able to dial up this weekend but i'm not counting on it.
