like warm apple pie....

last night was fun. jeannine came home, david and jeffy were here, and jenn come over. we had a big salad for dinner, and then jeannine baked an apple pie. i mean, full-on cut up apples and baked that shit. it was SO cool, looked awesome, and tasted even better. she rules.
but since apple pie baking and cooling takes awhile, the eating didn't commence till after 11. so there were many hours of online playing, cosmo quizzes, nintendo (dr. mario and yoshi!), laughing, joking, and having a good time.
i am so an old lady. just cuz i went to sleep at like midnight, and got up at 7, i'm all tired-like. heh. that's enough sleep! but whatever. i'm also hungry. i get to make a slim fast shake in a second and then we're gonna go work out. after that, david has a dr.'s appt so i may take a nap -- either that or work on a paper that's due monday.
this afternoon, the fabulous al is borrowing her boyfriend andy's truck in order to assist me in picking up the couch and coffee table from my mom's house. i'm gonna bake her and andy cookies and try really hard not to eat them. ;P maybe david will let me have one. =)
grumble, grumble. slim fast, here i come!!
