..those were the best days of my life

yesterday was sooooo awesome. i had the most fun i've had in a long time. i did a lot, so i'm gonna sum it up really short-like. or try, anyway.
so, krystal and i met up with her friend tiffany for our IKEA shopping adventure. tiffany was really, really nice. we drove out to S.F. (funny how we'll drive 1 1/2 hours just to go shopping!) and hit the store. DAMN, it's the coolest place ever. i'd never been there, so i was amazed. it's like shopping through a bunch of houses, writing down what you want, THEN shopping in a normal store when you have a detailed list. i did pretty good - got a cool laundry hamper, cheese grater, colored marbles, coasters, a duvet and pillowcases, a tiny alarm clock, 100 tealight candles, some candle stands, and a cutting board for $80.
krys and tiff did great, too. then we ate at chevy's on the waterside and split some huge nachos. then we planned what to cook for dinner, and headed home to krystal's house.
we cooked the boys fajitas, rice,and beans. but we got distracted while cooking doing stuff in krystal's room and TOTALLY burned the rice and chicken. ha ha. we saved it though. but we're talking major smoke and charring going on. jessi (the dog) was happy with her burnt food though.
then steven and adam came over, and we had a lovely dinner. adam kept complimenting me and telling me how funny i am. good, huh? =) then we decided we were going ot go over to the guy's house, play games or watch movies, drink, and go in the hot tub. so we split into two cars, krystal and steven got the alcohol, and tiff, adam, and i came to my house to get games. we were happy to see heather and travers cuddled up on the couch together. i haven't gotten to talk to heather yet though, so i don't know what's really going on.
then we met up, played scattegories, and drank girly drinks. it was funny stuff. steven kept coming up with words like "johnson" (for things that grow), "f**king" (for hobbies), and "jockstrap" (for sporting equipment). we had some good laughs.
then we hit the hot tub, and adma put a bunch of dish soap in it, and the bubbles just kept growing and growing. it was insane. so of the nieghbors came and joined us, a bunch of delinquent smoking drunks, but at least they were funny.
i really wish i'd had my camera all day, cuz there would have been so many good pics. us girls playing in IKEA, burnt dinner, and bubbles everywhere.
tonight, we're returning because the guys want to cook US dinner. isn't that cute? like cindy advised me, i need to try to get him alone and see what's going on. maybe tell him i'm interested, or invite him to lunch or something. i keep imagining taking him on a picnic. wouldn't that be great?
so now, i need to get dressed, fill a prescription, and do some homework before having my dinner made for me. and i didn't have a clue it was daylight savings time till my computer changed the time for me, so now i have 1 less hour to do it! eek!
