i'm ... shy?

ok, i may be a boisterous, loud, outgoing person normally, but i am painfully shy when it comes to someone i like cuz of the rejection factor thing. case in point:
i did not talk to adam tonight.
not only did i not talk to him about possibly getting together sometime, i didn't talk to him at all. we *did* share a nice eyes-locked smile, which was encouraging, but that's it.
why not? you ask. well... the timing was never perfect. see, i didn't want to embarass myself or him, so i wanted to catch a moment where we could talk with no one overhearing us. then, i also didn't want to obviously drag him away from the guys for a "chat", that would be too cheesy. and when we were all leaving, his ride was parked in the exact opposite direction, so he spilt off from us. *sigh*
but i'm not forcing it... and patience is a good thing, right? i'm wating till the time is right.
speaking of which, the time could be... tomorrow! i think that a bunch of us are heading to sudwerk's (a restaurant/ brewery for those of you not familiar with davis) tomorrow afternoon cuz the guys have a big midterm that they want to drink after. so hopefully i'll see him there.
oops, i may have been confusing you all once more. i just realized that i never wrote about going to the game last monday. it was travers' brithday, and heather and i went to their game, where they got killed 73-16 or something crazy. then we all went out to eat at woodstock's pizza on a spur of the moment thing, including adam. adam's roommate (steven) brings his girlfriend (crystal) to the games also, so she was there, along with another guy from the team, ken. i really like crystal. she's fun and i'd love to hang around her more. i found out last time that she's adam's cousin, which is pretty cool. (gotta get in good with her!! just kidding.)
so at this game (which they lost 54-42), heather and i had fun hanging with crystal, making fun of people we don't know. there was this stupid guy who kept showing WAY too much crack and thought he was hot shit. and a guy on the team with his hair up in a ponytail like pebbles and a huge unibrow. i mean, come on, peoples!
and that's all. oh... men's figure skating is totally gay. fun to watch, but these people? geez. and the one guy looked like justin from n'sync. (which is sick i know which guy that is) and i thought that was funny. i'll just leave it at that.
