a recliner!

it was a long weekend. we didn't get home until this afternoon, and i haven't felt very computer social until now.
we drove up to my mom's house on friday night, and stayed up late playing games. we woke up early saturday and drove another hour to the lake, where we spent almost 7 hours out on the boat. it would have been less, but we passed a boat in trouble on the way in to the docks, so we gave them a tow. you have to tow at 5 mph, so it took us an hour and half to get in instead of 15 minutes. aaaah.
i didn't even get a tan after all that! but i'm not burned, either. guess spf 30 is too high. i'll have to get some spf 15 next time. anyways.
by the time we ate dinner and got back to my mom's place, it was after 11 pm and we decided to sleep there and drive home this morning. thus the long weekend.
david's grandma gave us a recliner. it doesn't fit in the living room perfectly, but i thought it would be a good thing for my post-knee surgery recovering. so we squeezed it in. it's already getting put to good use:
that cat is too funny. i love it.
