is sex casual?

yesterday evening was fun - david and i went to applebees to celebrate being able to both eat real food! woo! i abandoned the healthy eating for one last day and split buffalo wings with him, and ordered chicken strips and fries for dinner. mmmm.
david and i also had a very interesting discussion about sex and how casual it is to people nowadays. about how it amazes him how easily people can have sex without love. now we all know that *i* have done that, but he hasn't. plus we talked about how open people are about sex and all the crazy places that exist purely for sexual things (strip clubs, live shows, swinger clubs, etc.) the verdict? i'm glad i did a few wild things before settling down, but i'm 100% sure that sex with love (and romance!) is what i want. i'm fortunate to have that and i hope to never take it for granted.
today at work has been long and boring. it's almost 2 pm, and i've been training a new girl for the whole day. she's at lunch now. she's very cool, and we've been mostly talking instead of doing any work. not because we're screwing off but because there's not work to do. both of the brokers are out of the office, the phone isn't ringing, and we've done all the tasks on my list for today. so we've been chatting it up. her name is beth, she's about a year younger than me, has a steady boyfriend of 3 years, and is a lot like me (except a little more fashionable and hip. ok, a lot more. and she's hot.) i like her. she's working with us as an intern for the summer, and then she plans to get hired on as a new broker when she gradutates and will come to work in our office once she's passed her exam.
tonight i'm going home for dinner and then joining sabrina for intermediate swing dancing lessons. i hope we meet some good dancers so that we're not the "unknown mystery girls" anymore and people ask us to dance, dammit!
well, beth just got back, so i'm going to post this and skiddadle! hasta.
