trying to make an icon

argh!! i'm trying to use this site to make a cute little lj icon of me, like my pal heather has. but so far, i'm coming up with lame-ness:

so i'm putting it to you guys. maybe i just suck at my facial features or something. it doesn't have to have that background, and it doesn't have to have the cat (although it *does* look like jasmine).
