the one where friends let me down

i have to say, i was semi dissapointed by the final episode of friends. there wasn't enough time with just the 6 of them together, and the episodes with just that are always the best ones. so yeah. i mean, i don't know how i would have done it differently or better, but something wasn't right. or maybe it's just that i had unattainable expectations. that could be it.
so tonight justin b* is coming down for a visit, and he will join sabrina* and i at our new swing dancing place. i wish this stupid cold would go away so i could have more fun. i'm still going regardless, it would just be better to not have to sniffle and sneeze while dancing with someone. cuz that's the sexiest thing ever, you know?

not that i'm picking up any guys there, mind you, i just want to be seen as a desireable dance parter. and for the record, if david would come with me and learn how to swing dance, i would die of happiness. just sayin'.
i think after work today david and i are going to go back to that skyline place, they sell dealer approved cars that are older and too cheap to sell on the big lots. weekends are the big time to get cars there, so we're gonna check it out. we need a new one ASAP. i'm afraid poor david will be stranded on the side of the road any time now.
mother's day is sunday! i was going to send my mom flowers, but good god, that's expensive. maybe just for this holiday they jacked the prices up. i don't know. so i'm bringing her flowers when i go up there on sunday. i'll eat some BBQ, jenn* will come over, and i'll try not to stay too late. i'm not that super excited since i just made the trip on easter, but hey. it's mom's day. you do what you gotta do.
