well, if there was any time to post an entry, it would be now. all the other people in my office are at a seminar my boss is putting on. i'm the office bitch, so i'm stuck here with the phones. and work i'm supposed to do.
instead, i've been still trying to gather quotes. i got one more! the room for the surgery will cost $2000. so that's $200 more for me. plus $2500-$3000 for the surgeon, making my total so far about $500. but there's something about the donor ligament for my knee costing $1500 more, i think. eh. AND that's not including the anesthesiologist, which will be the most expensive. plus the anesthesiologist's office is not contracted at a certain rate, so they can bill whatever the hell they please and then i get to fight it with the claims department after the fact. fan-fucking-tastic, huh?
alright, enough of that. SO. david's in the walnut creek office today, doing a second interview for the assistant manager position. he looks snazzy in his new khakis and cool shirt. wish him luck in his guestbook, kay?
anyways, so because he drove to walnut creek, i had to take the crappy car. yikes. it's gotten a lot worse since the last time i drove it. poor thing almost didn't make it to work! speaking of which, when david wnt to look at that saturn trade-in, they said that there was work needed to be done on it, so it would actually sell for a little more to make up for those costs. so david said no thanks and we moved on.
i wish this stupid cold would go away!
oh, and i can't wait for friends tonight, but then again, i almost don't want it to happen because i can't believe it's over. i bought the cool commemorative magazine for my coffee table. i love those guys! i know it's been said a thousand times before, but... it's the end of an era.
