the impending future money problem

so i'm sitting here at work. a little bored, yeah. i've finished up all the calls i have to make except for international calls that have to be made between 8-9 am. so i can't do those.
3 hours of work left. i've done less than 1,000 steps so far today. what a lazy-ass. heh. it's ok, i've got a *tough* workout video waiting for me when i get home.
so tricia was out sick a week ago, then again yesterday. she gave the cold to d-dee, who was really sick over the weekend but came to work medicated this week. gwen and i were chowing the vitamin C and echinachea. (yeah, can't spell).
you see where this is going. gwen's home sick today. i mean, we all sit within 10 feet of each other.
eep. i think i can still avoid it though. i hope so. i don't want to have a cold this whole labor day weekend.
*which* i will point out, i don't get paid for. i'm still in my "trial" period at work, so i don't get holiday pay. bastards. david doesn't get paid either, on his quickly ending job. his last day is wednesday.
this sucks the big one, i might add. he hasn't stopped sending out resumes, but NO BITES. NONE. this is BAD. BAD squared.
we don't want to lose our place. we had to fight really, really hard for it. i don't make quite enough on my own.
speaking of which, i think i better start applying for a second job. we're gonna need it.
