very productive weekend

i've done more actual work this morning than i did all last week, probably. ok, not exactly. but i got things DONE and i feel proud and i am awesome.
this weekend was fantabulous. the weather was beautiful - sunny, clear, and somewhere around 70 degrees. it really put me in a great mood and motivated me to get stuff done. saturday morning i watched the oc, cuddled with david, and took a nap. lots 'o relaxation, which we needed. then we went to the YMCA for our run, grabbed subway, and came home with a project in mind. we cleaned out the garage. big time. we took out 5 bags of recycling, a HUGE box of trash, and boxes of stuff for goodwill. david got all of his computers lined up against one wall, and the rest of the place is OPEN. it's amazing.
so then i got more of the spring cleaning bug, and swept the whole house. and vaccummed all rugs, including the garage one. and moved all of my scrapbooking stuff (including a card table) to the back computer room and now our living room looks much neater. i still need to organize that back room, though. ah well. another day.
then after all of that, we showered and went to taco bell, where we bought a billion crunchy and soft tacos and took them to david's parents house for dinner. fun & spontaneous! after eating with them, we hit up target for some hosue stuff, like a new bathtub mat and laundry tubs for the garage (to keep our clothes off of the floor and also sorted! yay!)
it was just crazy how much shit we got done.
sunday was slightly less productive, but still good. i slept in until 10ish, made david breakfast (aww), talked on the phone with jenn for awhile, did our bills, and read journals. then we ran some errands (david wants to buy a cell phone with an internal radio and mp3 player, and is considering adding on as an extra line to my plan) and then met up with sabrina for a hike. well, we tried to hike, but the paths were more like mudslide areas, so we kept to the road and it ended up just being a walk. but nice anyways. then tony met up with us and we ate thai food (yummmmmmmmm drunk noodles) and the tony got us girl scout cookie ice cream and we watched the simpsons. then david and i went home, where we went right to sleep at 9pm. cuz we're OLD.
and that, my friends, was a rather long and possibly boring account of my weekend. but i enjoyed it!
now back to work, and also back to facing the reality that i have a midterm tomorrow - yuck! lots of book reading to do tonight!

2002: there's this part where they shoot an old lady with the orgasmorater (it gives people orgamsms) and she starts humping her walker. i about died.
