books for sale!

i feel like i'm running a textbook business out of my bedroom. whew.
see, you buy these REALLY expensive books (around$75-$100 each) for your college classes, maybe use them once of twice to do homework assignments, then you can keep them, or try to sell them back to the bookstore for a rediculously low price, like $10.
so this year, some entrepreneurs started screwthebookstore.com and i listed a bunch of my old books on there. they're selling like mad! which is good, i'm getting like $30-$40 for each of them, but it's crazy. i'm emailing left and right, mailing them off to santa barbara and billing people on paypal.
and then of course, i have the run-ins with stupid people who look at the book for 10 minutes and then decide not to buy it for some reason or another. sigh.
today is a good day. i went to morning swim practice, which makes me feel good. i had cheerios with banana, yummy, healthy breakfast. i got on the scale -- back down to lowest weight, with a 3 pound loss from last week. i feel like i can conquer the world!
i love this feeling. i wish i could bottle it and let it out when i need it the most.
