sometimes i need inspiration to write an entry. so i've decided to join this site:

i am making great progress on my shakespeare essay. check out my thesis:
Egeon�s monologue, which comprises the majority of Act 1, Scene 1, has three main purposes: it introduces the audience to the setting of the play, it allows the audience to have more knowledge than any of the characters have throughout the entire play, and it gives the play the depth and romantic edge it needs to avoid becoming merely a slapstick comedy.
yeah, baby. i'll be a writer yet. but i'm writing the conclusion right now, i need to tighten one of the middle paragraphs, toss in a few more quotes, and BAM! essay 1 done. then i still have the other one to do.
good thing i finished the AI homework. david and i worked on it last night, and our rhythm of doing homework together leaves something to be desired. we both get kinda irritated, i hate that i can't do anything as well as him, i feel stupid, he then gets annoyed at me... it's no good.
poor baby was quite stressed last night. it's as if all the things he has to do finally came to a head. he has an immense amount of reading for his russian history class, and he's not a very fast reader. his graphics class is really hard. the AI class is stupid, and the grader is an asshole. (seriously, the highest grade on the first homework was an 80. david got a 79, i got a 76. and all our answers WORKED!!) plus, his car didn't pass smog yesterday.
he was the one needing me last night, and i am proud to say i was there. i held him while he poured out his concerns, cried a little, and went to sleep.
we need to be strong for each other. that's what love is about.
