just another saturday
01/08/05 ~ 8:22 p.m.
so far, today has been both productive and relaxing! who would have thought?
i started the morning off with a movie, we don't live here anymore, which i didn't enjoy as much as i'd hoped. it was really depressing. but it was good to watch it because i'm cancelling netflix next week and i want to get as many movies out of them as i can before then. (i'm cancelling it for two reasons - 1. save money and 2. there is no way i'll be able to watch enough movies to warrant the service after i go back to school. i ALREADY stress out when i haven't watched enough each week. but i LOVE it, and i'll probably start it up again in the summer.)
then i goofed on the computer for awhile, and then had a wonderful breakfast prepared by my love. then we watched karate kid 3 while snuggled up on the couch. [sidenote: am i the only one who wishes that at times like that, there was an omni-present photographer to capture the moment? no? ok, maybe i'm just picture crazy. but we were so cute, i bet.]
after that was over, i changed the kitty litter and dumped it in our outside dumpster, only to get reprimanded by a neighbor i've never met before because i forgot to put the dumpster lid back on. i felt so bad, i hate being told when i do something wrong or careless. so i was in a mood for awhile, but i had to get on with the day. i dragged david with me to the junior college because the bookstore was open today, so i could at least get my books. that was $144 for two classes! ah! and i still have to get my parking pass and pay for classes. sigh. then david showed me all the places to park and what buildings my classes are in. woo. on our way back, we stopped at the grocery story and got some things for dinner and various other stuff we were out of.
when we got home, it was miraculously not raining, so we got a wild hair and took down all the chirstmas lights. yay, us! we're so productive. then we unloaded groceries and made a yummy recipe from my bubba gump shrimp cookbook - a shrimp casserole. then we played DDR while it baked (yay, a workout) and then ate, and cuddled, and had some excellent lovin'. now, after a shower, i am just updating you all, checking a few things, and then i'm going to curl up in bed with another movie - the anniversary party. can't wait for tomorrow, i'm hanging out wth brooke and mariah, i get to see brooke's engagement ring, i'll spend my target gift card (and no more) and it will just be a girly day of fun. LOVE those.
hope i didn't bore you all with a play-by-play of my saturday. pretty typical, except starting next week there will be a wholel lot of "homework" thrown in! oh, the joy. i can't believe i'm going back to school. i always swore i wouldn't. guess that'll teach me to swear.

p.p.s. i'm upset about the jen & brad breakup. i thought they were a great couple!

2004: i started my new job. this means i won't be on the internet at work, since this job is important to me. [ed. note: hahahahahaha yeah right.]
2003: we communicate. we don't bottle it up. as much as i'd love everything to flow all perfect-like, it won't always. what we have is pretty close, though, so i'll take the few bumps in the road to get the smooth sailing. cuz that david, he's perfect for me.
2002: oh... speaking of school and my classes, my lab partner andy not only dropped all of our classes this quarter but told me he is pretty sure he's CHANGING HIS MAJOR. i am not happy with this news. grrrr. [ed. note: i credit this move by my old lab partner, andy, as the shift that ended me up with david. it was because of him that david and i became lab parters. <3 so, not so grrrr after all.]
