sammi weekend

last night was SO fun! will, david, sammi, sabrina, sabrina's date david two, and mariah went to a bar that has kareoke nights. we happened to bump into kat, who was there with some other friends. we got plenty of drinking done (i had a midori sour, a cosmopolitan and at least 3 sex on the beach drinks), and we sang, danced, and were merry.
mariah, sabrina, kat, sammi, and i singing "girls just wanna have fun"we sang the one song as a group, and some of us sang individual songs. sabrina sang "walking after midnight", david sang "secret agent man", i sang "lucky star", and sammi sang some love song that i don't know. heh.
earlier in the day, sammi and i had gotten our makeup done at the MAC counter, and we got dressed up to go out, i felt different and pretty. check out our beautiful-ness:
you can't see the makeup, but still, i LOVE this picture. we both look good!sammi left this morning :( but i had a really fun time while she was here. yesterday we ate at this crazy place here in town called tex wasabi: rock n roll sushi & BBQ, where we got cocktails, sushi, and something called a gringo roll: in which BBQ beef brisket and FRENCH FRIES are rolled up in rice like sushi. weird, that was. fun experience, though! we also watched 11 epiosodes of sex and the city. superstah!
now it's sunday afternoon and i'm hot, lazy, and bored. i've read two magazines, played on the computer, and taken a shower. that's it. but david and i are going on a date tonight. there will be dinner out, but we didn't pick a movie we'd both like to see, so whatever else we're going to do is still up in the air. it's a bummer that my knee limits active things like ice skating, hiking, or even mini golf (too much standing). anyone got any good yet 'different' date ideas?
