living the life of luxury

someone was searching for amy pocha and found my website. i knew her in high school! why were they looking for her? my site is one of the only 3 that came up on google with her name. i wonder what would happen if i searched for myself... i got "Results 1 - 10 of about 3,730". dang. guess my name isn't all that common.
i didn't have a computer all weekend cuz i am housesitting. so here goes a nice, abridged version:
friday night
brooke and i saw america's sweethearts, which was ok. then i went home and packed some. then i went to the softball game. i played 2nd base! and i screamed "oh my god!" at the ball. we'll see if i ever play 2nd again. then we went to the bar- i totally got in. i didn't order drinks or anything; i didn't want to push it. i *did* sing karoke with brooke. we sang "man, i feel like a woman". it was fun. our co-worker, wendy had brought along a friend she thinks would be good for brooke. they danced to a few songs, he seemed nice, but i don't think there was really a spark there. i bet wendy will keep trying though.
saturday
i got up at 10 and packed some more boxes, plus the stuff for the weekend. i worked at the pool and scrapbooked. i went to jenny's parents house, and mikey was already there. we went swimming while waiting for heather and travers. they came over, went swimming, and we BBQed. then we played a movie trivia game and win lose or draw. the movie game was fun, but super hard cuz it was so old we had never seen a lot of the movies. i'm now set on making my own cards to play along with the game. win lose or draw was hilarious- and we hadn't even had anything to drink!! we had a fun, fun time. it was obvious something was missing though- jenny. i can't wait for her to get home. after heather and travers left, mike played video games and i watched for awhile before going to bed.
sunday
i slept till 11, and then attempted to make breakfast burritos. i suck. then i drove all the way out to the pool for my last day there. i got more scrapbooking done, but i didn't finish. then i went back to the house and mike was watching a movie on tv. i washed dishes and then flopped on the couch. carly brought her boyfriend and roommate over to see eddie murphy's house. they did that, and left. it wasn't a social visit. mike and i ate fries and chicken strips and watched who wants to be a millionaire before playing more video games. i, of course, went to sleep probably hours before he stopped playing. cuz *i* had to work today. and i had yucky dreams.
and now i'm at work. fun stuff.
