david's dumb company

all my other officemates are at lunch. ha ha! free reign! so i'm eating my soup and typing at you. that way, i can spend my whole REAL lunchtime outside! gotta go to the bank, too.

so let me tell you why david's work is stupid. he finally remembered to ask off the week we want for vacation. his mom told us the dates for their timeshare (in reno, nv) about a month ago. it's the week of september 20th. so david asked for those 5 days off. i think he's actually able to have 7 days off total. anyways. they told him he can have monday, tuesday and wednesday off, but not thursday or friday because a) one person has asked for those two days already (out of like, 50 people who answer phones) and b) they might be busy if summer lasts long. IF?!?! SUMMER??? people, he is asking for ONE WEEK and he's asking 6 months in advance. oh. my. god.
so he just took the 3 days he could get, and is vowing that if the times comes and he doesn't get it off, he will quit or call in sick or something. we're hoping that by then, he might be in another department because IT is starting to show some interest in him, which would be awesome.
well, the other assistant just got back, and it's time for my lunch. hasta!
