slow day at work
03/19/04 ~ 12:53 p.m.

so it's just me in the office today. jim was here for about an hour this morning, and now... nada. let's recount what i've done:

i did all the morning paperwork. got my stuff done that needed doing.

read diaries.

called brooke*. she has today off because war protests are happening right by her office and it's unsafe. lucky girl. we talked for over an hour, during which a) the office phone rang once, b) one person came in and deposited a check and c) i painted my toenails.

went to the chiropractor. went to subway. returned to work (though i contemplated going to ross) to find zero messages on the machine and not even one piece of paper on the printer (that's how the main office sends us all information, and it's nonstop almost all day).

i'm now eating my sandwich and playing online.

plans for the rest of the workday:

finish the final exam for my training. i have 30 questions left and then i can submit it. (i had to go through all the training when i became full time. it's supposed to take 6 months, and i've been employed for 3 months at this office. i rule!)

open the mail and do whatever needs to be done with it.

crop my pictures from france.

paint my fingernails?

stamp the outgoing mail.

balance the daily deposit.

take mail to box and deposit to bank. go home early because i am bored, bored, BORED!!

i get a 3 day weekend! i'm switching back to working tues-sat next week, so i get monday off in addition to the weekend. woo.

tomorrow should be fun, david and i are going on a little day trip. we're going to visit my grandparents cuz i haven't seen them since last june, jeannine* cuz it's her b-day on tuesday, brooke and robert* cuz they're cool, and go to some party for david's coworker. it's funny because my grandparents live about 2 hours away and then we will visit people progressively closer on the way home. heh.

happy friday everyone! oh hey, is there a friday five? let me check...

here we go...

If you...
