about 2 hours of work left
12/24/03 ~ 9:48 a.m.
so today is going as planned. opened early christmas presents with david this morning. i got my dumbbells that i knew about, plus one other gift: a pretty star ornament for the tree. david says i can start a star ornament collection! woo!
he opened a frying pan, which surprised me cuz i thought i was having him open a different gift i got for him. hahaha. but that's fine. i got him this pan so he can make omelets like we made in cooking class.
now i'm working, until about 12 i think. then i am going to the YMCA and doing a workout. then home, to shower and gather gifts. then off to david's grandma's house, though i believe a detour to ross and possibly target is in order. i get to wear PJs to work at blockbuster tomorrow and sadly, i have no good PJ top. so i will buy a little set. plus i want to get one more present for david's parents. they NEED a cordless phone like no other.
tomorrow, both david and i work. but then we are going to have a nice romantic dinner (cornbeef w/cabbage is the plan) and open the rest of our gifts to each other.
oh, and i want everyone who is reading to send good thoughts to brooke*. she got an ulcer on her cornea. yep. in her eye. (as i said to her, like 5 times, i thought ulcers were a stomach thing. anyways.) so it's really scary, she has to see a docter every day this week and put in super strong drops EVERY 30 MINUTES. even at night. and even so, she may not recover full vision in the left eye and she probably won't be able to wear contacts ever again. so plase pray for the best recovery she can have.
