what to write?

well, i'm at work, and the broker just stepped out for lunch. entry time!
let's see. today is a double: 8-5 here, then 6-close at blockbuster (11:30 ish). but i get tomorrow off from both so that's happy. i'm going to address christmas cards and watch movies i rented.
yesterday i worked a day shift at blockbuster, then met david at the YMCA to swim. david made me kill time on the way home cuz he needed to wrap presents. i tried to go pick up my reprints of christmas pictures at walgreens, but half of the town had no power. so i went grocery shopping. woo.
on the way home, the mercury (our crappy free car) started shaking like mad, so i freaked out and pulled over. i called david and he came to rescue me. he tried to drive it and freaked out, but luckily, i spied the blownout tire. whew.
so david gets to changing it, but because the car has no e-brake, it fell off the jack and wanted to roll down the hill. scary. glad it didn't hurt david. so i had to sit in the car and hold down the brake pedal while he changed the tire. such teamwork.
this morning i returned to walgreens and now their printing machine is broken. i put those pictures in on MONDAY! one hour, my ass. i'm going to try and demand a discount when they finally finish. and i can't send out christmas cards until they do!
i am also irritated because i need to find a VHS copy of pirates of the carribean. that's what david's parents want and damned if anyone carries it. blockbuster never got any. apparantly walgreens didn't either. and of course, it's nearing the end of the shopping days right now, so that makes it even harder. *grumble* they only decided they wanted it the other day, too. so it's not MY fault. well, not as much.
we still don't have a christmas tree. we're getting it on saturday. we have tons of wrapped presents, though. we're just never both home when there is daylight in which to go to the tree farm. so saturday it is.
well, i guess i had plenty to ramble about. but now i am going to take a little walk outside while i finish up my lunch break. hasta,
