no update all weekend?

oops. had a busy enough weekend that i completely ignored diaryland. here's what i did:
friday after work - watched 1/2 of better lunck tomorrow. had dinner ready for david when he got home. went to chris'* house for poker. there were 8 players - i came in 3rd. not bad! david won, tim* came in 2nd. usually tim wins. he was a little drunk though.
saturday - got up, finished watching the movie, got dressed and returned that movie and 28 days later, which i didn't even watch. then we met will* and cameron* at the tennis courts and played for a couple hours. it was SO much fun. mariah* joined us a little later. then we grabbed burritos and went to cam's house and played video games. mariah eventually left for work and i fell asleep in my chair and left the boysto their fighting games. at 6ish, david and i left to go watch tim* play in a poker tournament. sadly, he was out when we got there. we watched the end of the game, where the last 3 standing split the prize money and each took home $1200 or $1500! entry fee was $100 so they really had a good night. then david and i went home, watched our taped episode of friends, and went to sleep.
sunday - i worked at blockbuster. i realized partway through the day that i had returned 28 days later in error - confessions of a dangerous mind was supposed to be returned, and was now at my house racking up late fees. shit. THEN we realized that a movie i had returned had been missed and i had fees for that! in a customer case, they can just take off fees. but in an employee account... no go. so hoepfully the store manager (kevin*) will authorize them to be taken off. however, i'm not supposed to use the drop box and i did... so we'll s e if he's a jerk.
so i got hom all grouchy, i stayed an extra hour to help and i was not happy about it. i worked out to blow off steam, took a bath, and was mad because david hadn't called me back yet about the movie. see, i NEEDED to watch confessions... because it was already late! but he wanted to watch it with me, maybe, and i needed to know if he would watch it THAT NIGHT. grrrrr. but he called while i was in the bath, wanted to watch it with me, and cheered me up. so i went on an inspired cleaning spree and not only gathered trash from around the house but re-purged my closet of too-big clothing and moved around some furniture resulting in another bedside table! it was very cleansing.
david got home, we ate pasta and watched the movie (quite weird). mariah* also called and invited us to a dinner at her parents' house thursday after thanksgiving. consequently, cameron* is invited also. onlookers are wondering what will happen with those two. simply new friends, possibly future coworkers (she got him an interview), or something more? the future is not clear at this point.
then we went to bed, both of us completely exhausted. we cuddled up together and whispered in the dark until the romance got too much for us and we couldn't simply drift to sleep. what happened next, i leave to your imaginations.
