trip, day 3
*6/21/02 ~ 4:40 p.m.
we got up early so ned could get homework done before class. then i did his laundry, and fell asleep in his room. we went over to his campus to watch the US- germany game. then we caught the bus to the train, and headed off to paris. when we got there, we figured out how to take the subway to our hotel. ha ha ha, this hotel was SO funny. it was teeny tiny, a real taste of paris living. seriously, when you sat on the toilet, your knees hit the wall. it was very old, you could tell, by the worn carpet and a hole in the floor and the pull chain on the toilet. we had some good laughs. it was really fun. so we went out for dinner and the hotel guy told us it was the night of the paris music festival (fete de la musique) so we decided to take the subway to the center of town and check it out. we got food at a place called "maison couscous" (house of couscous), which was really good. and not at all what we expected. so then we walked and found a free lenny kravitz concert! how random is that?? but cool. so we partied till late, and then returned to the hotel. i'm leaving out all the dirty details, but just know that we had fantastic sex each of these nights. =) heh. i also managed to spill my water bottle all over myself while laying in bed. good thing i was naked. ha ha.
