smurfs

so, i was reading bobbi's diary. and she had an entry about the show "the smurfs". this inspired me for today's entry.
i have some grandparents who love smurfs so much they use the word "smurf" as a noun, verb and an adjective. examples:
"how the smurf are you?"
"what are you doing?" "just smurfin'."
"smurf that!"
"that guy is just a regular smurf."
ok, then to top it all off, their license plate on their car reads "SMURFT". and their email address names are papasmurft and mamasmurf.
they *are* very cute though. smurfs, that is. they were invented in germany, i think. we saw an original book in my french class. they're really called "strumphs". like, Papa Strumph and Strumphette.
ok, now i'm kinda smurfed out. =)
