sounds in the night
04/06/03 ~ 10:31 a.m.
well, the party was a fun time... although jenn*, david and i waited almost an hour for anyone to show up. i took lots of pictures, ate a little too much food, and got tons of compliments on my hair! my favorite part was the pinata. it was hilarious. hope some good pictures of that came out.
it was pretty funny later in the evening... we had a fire in a firepit and we were all hanging out, chatting, some drinking beer, etc.. and there were these kids spying on us. eventually it turned into a bunch of people chasing them around the park, when it was revealed that they were playing "lord of the rings" and were trying to sneak past us to throw a ring in the fire. hee hee. ah, to be a kid again. well, after a lot of chasing, we invited them over and gave them marshmellows to rast and stuff. even got a picture of them. it was so weird.
i just kept thinking, there will be someday when they are all college students, hanging out, and they'll be like, "DUDE, remember that night when those college kids chased us and we were playing lord of the rings and then we got marshmellows? dude, that was the best, dude."
so david and i went home a little early but the party broke up not too long after that because jeannine and aaron came home. and not long after that i was hearing some questionable noises. so i mentioned it to david and we were listening really hard and just hearing a few bumping noises. then.. smack! "aaaaah"... it was unmistakable. ewwwwwww. i hid under the pillow. but then david and i decided the best way to drown them out would be to beat them at their own game. yay us.
and then at 2 am-ish, we were awakened to MORE sounds in the night... this time, someone puking in the bushes outside our window. damn college town. so of course, i got all freaky and puke phobic, and hid nder the pillow again. ew, ew. it still makes me shake.
well, i'm going to swim practice in a bit so i need to get off of here. have a good sunday everyone... i'll try... got a bunch of homework to do. bleh.
