things not to complain about

i made a yummy dinner last night. the main dish was called 'oven baked honey chicken' and it was very tasty, sweet and yummy. and low fat! so that was happy.
here i am at work. i'm tired. after doing homework, david kept me up a little late last night. not really complaining though. :wink:
it's really odd that they still have nothing for me to do. just emailed the boss asking if they can get the software for me to test on my computer so i can get going. i'm anxious!
guess what? i'm going to see salina* this weekend!! in santa cruz! i haven't seen her place since she moved there, and i haven't seen her in forever, and she just had her b-day so it's for that too, AND she hasn't met david yet! yay. i'm stoked. plus santa cruz means... beach!
i am going to miss everyday joe playing in davis, though. grrr. janine* didn't tell me till yesterday that they are coming. not cool, not cool. sigh. c'est la vie.
no email for big boss man yet. i wonder if he's in yet. i don't work in the same building as him, even. my job is so weird. so far. but seeing as how i'm updating right now, and chatting on MSN with justin b.*, guess i shouldn't be complaining.
(hence the title of this entry. cuz i have a lot to "not complain about").
ok, here's real complaining -- i didn't finish the homework last night, it's due tonight, and i need david's help but i hate asking him for help. he doesn't mind, i just like to do it myself and be smart. BUT, this is another thing i shouldn't complain about -- my #1 thing i wanted in a guy was for him to be smart. david is brilliant. i am thankful for this. yes. i am. but not when he's being waaaaaaaay smarter than me!!
oh, and more real complaining -- i have an essay due a week from tomorrow. on shakespeare. if i get started soon, shouldn't be a problem.
oh, and david and i have like 25 loads of laundry to do. and i might not be exaggerating. seriously. he got $40 in quarters so we can attack it today.
just gotta make sure i don't fall in any holes.
