i'm going to be gone all weekend, retreating with a bunch of freshman in the woods. showing them how cool us women in engineering are, and getting them excited about college. woo.
before i go ... the friday five:
1. Would you say that you're good at keeping in touch with people?
oh yes. i am notorious for keeping all my friends.
2. Which communication method do you usually prefer/use: e-mail, telephone, snail mail, blog comments, or meeting in person?
e-mail is the easiest nowadays. and by email, i'll set up times to meet. =)
3. Do you have an instant messenger program? How many? Why/why not? How often do you use it?
i use AIM all the time, and also MSN messenger cuz i have a hotmail email. i use ICQ to talk to bobbi jo, when i remember to turn it on.
4. Do most of your close friends live nearby or far away?
i have a lot of friends who live pretty far away, but such is the life of the college student. at least my fantastic boyfriend lives nearby -- in our room. =)
5. Are you an "out of sight, out of mind" person, or do you believe that "distance makes the heart grow fonder"?
totally "distance makes the heart grow fonder." i love catching up with people and seeing how they've grown in the time we've been apart.
