scary shit

so, it's 3:25. and i'm staying up all night. why? cuz i have to watch david sleep. to make sure he doesn't stop breathing or something. let me back up...
so, jenny, david and i went to G street pub and froggy's and got him his first 3 drinks. he had 2 shots (brain hemmorhage and something else) and a tequilla sunrise. then we headed over to the cantina, where we were eventually joined by jenn, luke, and tom. it was an interesting group cuz no one knew each other, but it was cool. everyone got along well. so these guys at the bar kept buying david drinks. he got a hot roger (shot), a menthe something (shot), long island iced tea, and one where you drop a shot of jaigermeister in red bull.
then we sat down at a table, where we all chatted for a long while and it was apparent that david was drunk. he was kinda mean to jenny, but she was fine with it. so then i get to telling the voodoo penis joke, and partway through it, david is like, "i need to go to the bathroom. help me. HELP ME" and he turned all white. so i could tell he was gonna puke so i sent luke and tom with him. i guess he managed to puke all over the bathroom, and luke even mopped up the bathroom.
luke sent me to go get him some food cuz he was really weak. while i was gone, he managed to clog the sink with puke so the bar "kindly" kicked them out. anyways, when i got back, it was the worst i'd ever seen. he was in teh mud, moaning and yelling and in a lot of pain. these 2 random guys, plus jenn and luke, were helping him out. anyways, to make a long story short, after a long while, the guys took his pulse and decided we needed to take him to ER.
so we go, jenn driving, me in the backseat, him moaning... and then he puked out the window and it blew right back all over me. luckily it was mostly water, but still. so when we got there, they took him right in. it was awful. so he puked and puked more, and was yelling and it's all a really long story, but eventually, they hooked him up to an IV. it renourished him, but hen they gave him stuff so he wouldn't puke and it made him go to sleep.
and stop breathing.
i was freaking out. so then they gave him and oxygen mask and we were all there, shaking him and yelling. that was the scariest part. eventually, he started breathing on his own and i went out into the waiting room with luke. we had to wait for a few hours, and we took him home. he's a lot more coherent, but we need to watch him, make sure he doesn't sleep on his back cuz he could puke, and make sure he's breathing.
so as i was writing this, i heard a funny noise and walked out of my room to see david PEEING in my hall closet. so when i walked out there, he just turned away from me and kept peeing. sigh. so i sent him back to bed and cleaned up my stuff -- board games, dice, walkman, etc. should be ok. i still find it funny.
but then i was making commotion what with the pee. and heather came out all pissed and didn't listen to my explanation. ARGH.
i'm all tired and want to sleep, but oh well. i have class at 9 so i have to go to that.
all i can say is, my friends are great. luke is still here, jenn helped a LOT. and jenny is having her own drama -- mike's mom is in the hospital and in very critical condition. so cross your fingers for her too.
anyways, i will never forget these events. it was some scary shit. and that's all i have to say. 'night.
