wah. i have gotten my first mean guestbook entry from a stranger. (i seem to also have acquired a fan though, so it all works out). i was all insulted (i first typed in-slut-ed, ha ha) but then i realized that my diary DOES have pictures of baby gonzo and the current entry at the time was all about the bathroom. no wonder they thought i was 9.
i am at work. i am more tired than anything because i stayed up till 1:30 doing homework. for many people, this might not seem like anything, but for me, that is WAY too late. not to mention i am supposed to be at work at 7. so i'm kinda like a wilting flower today.
i am working on a project on diaryland, helping in my own way to beautify. i'm not a good designer, but i do know how to work HTML and troubleshoot. so what i am doing is helping people install the templates from lexdesigns and making sure their entire diary works smoothly. when people give me an idea of what they want, i am putting their sample up either here or here, so they can see it before i attack their diary. maybe we can get rid of these people's awful templates right at the start!
i finally talked to ned on the phone yesterday. we hadn't talked since i started school, which was mainly my fault. i'm not used to having so much to do in what used to be my free time. he basically told me, "see? i told you davis wasn't going to be like sierra." so then i shot him down by telling him that on the us news top 50 colleges in the u.s., davis was #41, tied with georgia tech! so ha! him and his prestigious school. we weren't fighting though, just playing with each other. we had a good conversation. god i miss him. at least i get to go see him at thanksgiving time!
amy wrote me something related to this about a week ago and i thought i'd quote her here:
"Please tell me you are keeping your eyes open for guys to pursue and not hung up on the nedmeister. Ask to "study" with them. It never fails, and "study breaks" are always needed. Be brave. You will never again have so many hot, available men at your disposal. You can quote this in your diary."
hmm. something to think about. not just now, though. i'm too busy with school and friends, and certainly too hung up on the nedmeister.
last night was V.I.D.C.N. aka, "very important dawson's creek night". season 5 premiere! jeffy, mike, and jenny came over to watch. it was ok... not great... jack has a mullet and needs a haircut. ha ha. but anyways, the wednesday night tradition had begun!
i'm hungry. and tired. and not doing any work. i'm going to go work on 2 of those things. sleep can always be postponed. =)
