almost famous

today i was a lazy bum. i walked the dogs, scrapbooked for a long time, played with the dogs some more. then carly, ned and i went to birdcage cinemas and saw Almost Famous. for those of you that don't live around here, that is also known as the "dollar movies". after six, all moves cost a whopping $1.75 . it was a great movie and it made me nostalgic for the old days. i used to really be a music person. never as much as jeffy, and i definitely wasn't indie, but i was always at concerts. now i am out of it. i go to work and school and i don't do much else. it's sad.
anyways, i sat in between ned and carly. i was cold cuz i didn't have a jacket and my hands were freezing and i wanted to hold ned's hand but i didn't want to just grab it. so i spent the better half of the movie pondering that AND what other movies Anna Paquin had been in cuz i always confuse her with Thora Birch. i like them both. anyways, i finally got my hand on his leg, and he got the hint and we were all cute and hand-rubby and everything. i may have been getting him a little worked up also, but it was only for about the last 20 minutes or so. but then, i had driven and carly's car was at the house i am housesitting at, so i couldn't stay or have him come over or anything. which i think bummed him out. i gave him a quick kiss, which was odd. we've never kissed in front of carly, only astrid and bleh, but i don't think she saw anyways. i'm a big mess. although i'll miss him, it'll be better when he's gone.
