thanksgiving and canada

ned got accepted back into georgia tech. which is good, plus i was counting on him leaving as a perfect time to end this mess easily. however, he started classes on jan 5th, which is a hell of a lot earlier than anyone thought. it is putting damper on our trip, possibly cancelling it. we already have reservations and we're gonna have to change them!! so i'm trying to manage a shorter (4 day) trip so we can still go. plus, to top it all off, ned will be gone in about a month. i'm gonna be sad about it. the two of us have gotten closer emotionally. there are plenty things about him that i don't like, and they are all reasons why we're not a couple. i still like being romantic with him, and i like the attention. and we often have really good talks, all jokes aside. we are both in the computer field, after all. so i'll miss him. :(
oh, i haven't said anything about my thanksgiving yet! well, ned was coming wiht my mom and grandparents to black angus. we're eating out (which i am bummed about) becasue our kitchen is all torn apart. well, my grandparents never showed up. turns out, they went to the wrong restaurant (even though they were supposed to come to our house first). so it was ned, my mom, and me. which is odd. my mom knows nothing of ned. this was only the second time she's seen him. i got pictures of the three of us. ha ha. well, we ate our turkey, then came back to my house and watched the perfect storm. it was sad. plus i was bummed i couldn't cuddle cuz my mom was there. now i am back at the house that i am housesitting at. i've been here since tuesday night. the lady i am doing it for is anal about her dogs. i have to concoct serious meals for them because they are detoxified and stuff. and she lives pretty far from me. argh. so that was thanksgiving. hope you all had a great one!
