friends wanted

it's a hot day. over 100 degrees. there's a fire not fat from here and it's made the air yucky. i've felt crappy all day. i did go to physical therapy, but besides that, i basically just watched episodes of sex and the city [with commentary]. because i love learning what goes on behind the scenes.
yesterday i sent out some friendster messages to girls in the area who seem friendly. one of them already wrote back - it seems that not only does she know sabrina, she recognizes me from one of those cooking classes i took last year! how funny. so we became friends. i remember her being very nice, so hopefully we can become friends off of the computer.
i'm lonely sometimes, living here. and it's bad to be too dependant on the boyfriend figure. sometimes i'm a little needy and overwhelming. he needs alone time. and i prefer people time.
i have friends, but not many that i can call up at a moments notice and just drive right over. brooke, jenn, jeannine, amy, the justins... they all live pretty far away. here i have 3 female friends, and they have their own lives too. so expanding my circle seems the best thing to do.
hopefully some of them will work out as well as sabrina, mariah, and amber did. one can only hope.
