less grouchy today

sorry so grouchy last night. the knee is bothering me, and i got to the point that i was thinking i should get it fixed sooner rather than later, but i got a thing in the mail stating that i am eligible for disability pay (which is only 50-60% regular pay) after i've been full time for 6 months. so i have to wait until at least mid july, anyways. so i'm sitcking with the original plan, and hoping that if i give the poor leg a break, it will stop hurting and go back to it's normal self. which is just weak, but not in pain every freaking second.
sunday is easter! david and i are going to my mom's house to have ham dinner with her, my brothers, and my grandparents. i haven't been there in awhile, so it will be nice to go back to what used to be home. plus we can show off the new car. and joe* can take me for a spin - he just got his license!
i'm looking forward to thursday night and friday, cuz i'm hanging out with amy* and she's the coolest. she's the friend i've known the longest, since 95/96. :) glad we've stayed so close even being long distance best friends after she graduated in 97. true best friends are like that.
new friends are good, too! sabrina* comes home in 2 weeks, and we've been emailing the whole time she's been in mexico. we have tons of things we want to do together. hoepfully we will become even closer as we get to know each other better. it's so great to have a friend close by sometimes.
