jenn and kiki!!

ok, the long awaited (ok, myabe i was the only one anxious for the pictures) entry about meeting two more diarylanders!! here's my day with jenn and kiki!
first, david and i drove to albany (a town near berkeley). the less than 1 hour dirve took more than 2 hours due to this:
we never even figured out what it was... we think an accident because ther was some glass on the road about where it finally cleared up.
but they were worth the wait!! we ate at one of kiki's favorite places, gordo's taqueria. i had a fantastic burrito with a spinach tortilla, yay! and then we took pictures:

to prove david was there, he met people too:
then kiki drove us to berkely in their rent-a-wreck. here's jenn getting out:
david had never been to telegraph avenue before. he was awestruck by all the hippie vendors and jewelry and pipes and beanies for sale. and here's a "proof we were there" picture:
then we went to this fancy-shmancy grocery store so kiki could buy lime syrup:
and then decided not to. but on the up side, i got salt!
then i started taking more random pictures to which jenn replied:
and then... we parted. such sweet sorrow. i hope they enjoyed CA and meeting me and my honey. i certainly enjoyed meeting my 4th and 5th darylanders in person! (#1 was lisa in 12/01, #2 was sammi in 6/02, and #3 was bobbi jo later in 6/02.)
can i just say, i love diaryland? cuz i do. i really, really do.
