some stuff

well, there has been stuff going on, but i've been either too busy or to lazy to post. hmmm, what first. let's see....
i gave up the title of owner of r-e-v-i-e-w. obviously, i'm not online enough to run the site. i'm still a reviewer though.
i visited sammi on friday night, gave her a b-day present, and went to concert. it was fun to see people i hadn't seen in awhile, like janine and amanda. yay. the band was really good, too. i'm gonna try to get them a spot in picnic day. =)
david and i picked up his bird on sunday. it's a cockatiel named griffen. he's about 4 1/2, and he's cool. he's got personality! he bobs his head around, and does really cute things with david. he bites me a lot, cuz he's protective of david. heh. jasmine doesn't like him much... well, she'd like him for dinner. so we have to be careful of that.
also, david went to a meeting for the top students in computer science where they talked to him about grad school. he seems interested in skiping the masters and going straight to the phD. he'd probably go to david and it would take like 3 years. i think it would be cool. i like it here, plus it's cheap and we can save money. i can work in sac or whatever. i know it will make him happy. plus THEY pay HIM! sweet, huh? not tooooooo much, but enough for rent so that rules.
i've now hit 12 pounds lost! it's still not very noticable, and coming off slowly, but hey... i'm going down and that what counts. determination and motivation, baby.
ok, i am also doing some homework that needs to be done in 15 minutes so i gotta get out of here. see, you're caught up now. =)
