relationships talks...

are good. seriously. i mean, i worried that if i brought up stuff like, "where are we going?" or "what bugs you about me?" that i would get a male response along the lines of, "stop being such a girl. we don't have to talk about everything." but no, the wonderful guy that he is, david brings these things up first.
we had a long talk yesterday and learned a lot more about each other. we even skipped the class we have together, because we were on a roll. there was deep talk about who and where we're each going to be in a few years. i learned a lot about david's childhood. and it all just reaffirmed how much i love him.
he said it yesterday, and i beleive it --- we have a very healthy relationship. we have to work on it, keep it strong and loving, and make sure it adjusts to the changes it will go through. already, we're living together, and that's a lot different than just dating. but we're on top of things, maintaining the relationship before there are any problems.
it's kinda like how i should be with my car. rather than just letting everything go bad, i should check up on it and give it oil and water and change filters, you know.. just TLC. lucky for david, i like giving him the TLC more than my car. and this is how i know that this is going to work. forever.
