christmas time
12/03/01 ~ 11:40 p.m.
we are so decorated. i got us a christmas tree, lights, stockings, and decorations, including a door wreath. we did all of that last night, and i took pictures. then today i made sugar cookies, jenn came over, and we decorated them and handed them out to our neighbors. we made 3 little men for the sophomores and put their initials on them, and made a girl and boy for our upstairs neighbors. and added in some star cookies too, of course. it was so fun. =) i did some christmas shopping today, finally, and bought gifts at the school bookstore. like "uc davis mom" sweatshirts and the like. so that was good. i still have a lot of friends to shop for, ned and one brother. but i am done with my mom, dad, and other brothers, and also brooke.
but the main thing.. I GOT THE JOB!!!!
so i am putting my 2 weeks notice in at polycomp tomorrow and i will be free from all work duties when ned is here. yay! i hate having to work when he's visiting. then i will start training for the brokerage firm after the new years when ned goes home. the pay is pretty good, the slight cut of about 50 cents is nothing compared to the gas and time of the commute i am doing right now. i am so stoked! my mom works for this company too so i know it's going to be good.
i can't sleep (yet again) so i am getting online. but it isn't connecting; everyone from school must be on right now. i'm just gonna keep trying.i 'm gonna be so tired when i have to get up before 6.
finallly! that took about 37 tries to get online. now i am going to check my mail and post this sucker. adios...
