company party and decorating

we got our tree today. we live right next to a tree farm, so we walked over and cut it down. $36 later, we walked home with a tree. rip off! but yet, we keep buying them, so they'll keep selling them. maybe next year we should grow our own tree. haha.
anyways, so now we're back home, the tree is up, and i put lights on it. we still need to put lights outside, but david is off buying staples for the staple gun. we need that first. i also still need to hang all the ornaments. whew.
however, we're not going to finish because his company's christmas party is tonight, at 6pm in berkeley. we're aiming to leave around 4:15 to make sure we get there early/on time. and i have to put on my saucy dress and powder my nose and i'm even planning on curling my hair! hot mama! pictures to follow, of course.
we might even get to stay the night at the hotel, as one of the the lucky winners of the room lottery isn't going, and as long as the hotel lets us change the name, we're in! i hope we get it, because a night at the fancy claremont hotel sounds nice.
ok, i'm going to go put lights in the bushes, where i need neither a staple gun or a big strong male.

one year ago: no entry.
two years ago: i hate that my birthday always falls in finals week.
three years ago: i gave my 2 weeks today and how my workdays fall next week, tuesday the 11th will be my last day. exciting!
