amber's big news

david and i are meeting his parents for dinner tonight, so i wanted to squeeze in a quick entry because i won't be home.
yesterday sabrina and i had a margarita lunch at applebee's and then saw the stepford wives. very nice afternoon. we took swing lessons last night, not super eventful, but i learned some new moves. woo.
today i had lunch with laura, i girl i met through livejournal. it was our first time meeting and it was lovely! we both ordered the same thing: spinach salad. she was sweet and we never ran out of things to talk about. hopefully i'll lunch with her again next week.
then amber called me with some big news: she's pregnant!!! yay! this is cool. amber's my only close married friend (in my age range) and my first pregnant friend. i'm looking forward to seeing her pregnancy progress. i'm very excited for her and her husband beto.
and that's all folks! gotta run: important paper sorting to be done. ugh.
