i need sleep

remember how yesterday i thought it was weird that my cell phone said 'cingular' on its screen? today it can't seem to decide. in the past hour, here at work (it's not like i'm changing zones or anything), it's been alternating between 'cingular' and 'at&t wireless'. it used to just say 'at&t'. whatever, silly phone. make up your mind.
i guess so long as it's still working, sending my text messages and such, i shouldn't be complaining, right? cuz brooke* and i sure do love those text messages!
so this weekend was busy and sleep deprived. i actually didn't have as much fun yesterday at the game party as i had hoped. it was kinda boring at points. oh, well. c'est la vie. i feel bad i subjected poor sabrina* to it, though. i'm also not sure why exactly we stayed until 12:45 pm, though. oh, right. they started a poker game and david is a sucker for poker. i came in 3rd out of 7, though! yay me.
today david and i are going to stop by the saturn dealership after work (we love our saturns) to see what their older cars are selling for these days. our price range is low, but we need a new second car, and we need it pretty soon. the car his parents gave us is not only about to die a painful death, but is up for registration next month and is not going to even come close to passing smog. as we're not going to put any money into repairs, we're just going to have to say goodbye and move on.
after that, we're going to go home, eat the turkey chili that is currently simmering in the crockpot, and go to bed early. we're both exhausted. we're such old-timers, we can't even handle staying out late on the weekends!
