1. Who is your favorite singer/musician? Why?
as a singer, i really love stevie nicks (of fleetwood mac). her voice is beautiful, she's lasted a long time, and her songs always make me sing along.
2. What one singer/musician can you not stand? Why?
mariah carey. i don't think i really need to explain this one, but i'll do it in one word: hoochie.
3. If your favorite singer wasn't in the music business, do you think you would still like him/her as a person?
you know, i'm not sure. i don't know much about the life of stevie nicks, all i know is she's a kinda gypsy-ish lady with flowy clothes.
4. Have you been to any concerts? If yes, who put on the best show?
i've been to many, many concerts... all many years ago. i think that everclear did some awesome shows (i went to 9), and of course, me dancing on stage and singing with art helped that experience. but a truly normal concert exerience that rocked was the band live. the lead singer really knows how to perform and work the crowd. that concert was great.
5. What are your thoughts on downloading free music online vs. purchasing albums? Do you feel the RIAA is right in its pursuit to stop people from dowloading free music?
i don't know. i see that record companies are losing money, but if they didn't press so many cd's then they'd make the right amount. it's supply and demand. i think filesharing is fine -- i'd much rather only own the songs i'm really going to listen to than a bunch of cd's where i only like 2 tracks.
